OVERVIEW

Star Music Festival values education. The festival emphasizes a positive reinforcement of performance skills necessary to produce an outstanding musical ensemble.

Star Music Festival gives your Junior High/Middle/High School performing group a chance to showcase their talents before a distinguished panel of Ohio Music Educator Adjudicators. The festival experience provides your group the opportunity to receive a spoken critique from an adjudicator immediately following your performance. You may choose to participate in Concert Choir, Women's Choir, Men's Choir, Chamber Choir, Swing/Jazz Choir or Show Choir.

NONCOMPETITIVE  Adjudication of your group will be on their performance and not compared to any other group. Choose selections that will best showcase your ensemble. The judges will evaluate the group’s performance with a rating of Superior, Excellent or Good. Awards are presented at the conclusion of your performance.

ACTIVITIES IN ONE LOCATION  The Resort is a safe environment for your students. All activities will take place in one indoor location. The Resort has a variety of activities to give students a choice of experiences. Students can enjoy water park activities, arcade games, miniature golf, Pottery Pizzazz, shopping, restaurants and a candy shop. Students and adults can relax in a full scale resort that features Ohio’s largest indoor waterpark .
